Two new partners have recently joined the Pomeranian Digital Library - the Scientific Library of the Castle Museum in Malbork (June 2024) and the Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway together with the Gdansk Branch of the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Transportation of Poland (October 2024). Both institutions, through the PBC, intend to make their most valuable collections available to disseminate knowledge, enrich the source base for new research and promote their own intellectual heritage. Currently, the first valuable prints and documents have already seen the light of day.
The first object from Malbork is an old print from the middle of the 17th century by Jakub Sobieski (1590-1646), a political activist, diarist, and father of King Jan III Sobieski (1629-1696), who took part in the Chocim Battle (1621):

The first 2 typescripts donated by PMR contain a brief history of the Association of Engineers and Transportation Technicians, as well as materials from the conference “Public transportation in the Gdansk agglomeration in 2000 in the new economic situation".
